Maggie Cornelia Coble

March 26, 1925 — August 29, 2015

Maggie Cornelia Coble, 90, of Farmington, Mo., formerly of Poplar Bluff, passed away Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015 at Community Care Center in Farmington.

Mrs. Coble was born March 26, 1925 in Mt. View, Ark., to the late John and Esther (Tuttle) Webb. She was of the Pentecostal faith and was a homemaker. During her earlier years Mrs. Coble worked for Modern Laundry and Odell's Cleaners in Poplar Bluff. She enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, gardening and canning.

On Sept. 4, 1948, she married Lonard Raymond "Pete" Coble in Piggott, Ark. He preceded her in death on Dec. 30, 1994.

Survivors include two sons; Raymond (Courtney) Coble of Prairie Grove, Ark. and William "Bill" (Cheryl) Coble of Farmington; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Virgie Montgomery of Poplar Bluff.

Mrs. Coble was also preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Fay and a great-grand-daughter, Brittanay Wrest Killgore and five brothers.

The visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. Vernon Kneir officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn section of the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
