Mardeanna Apodaca, 77, of Hemet, Calif., formerly of Poplar Bluff died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008 at her residence.
Mrs. Apodaca was born July 15, 1931, in Qulin, Mo. She graduated from Poplar Bluff High School, and had attended Community College studying creative writing. Mrs. Apodaca enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, researching family genealogy, singing, reading, tending her garden and caring for her fruit trees.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Henry M. ""Hank"" Apodaca, of Hemet, Calif.; children: Bill Webb, of Beaumont, Calif. Becky Ottesen, of Spanish Fork, Utah and Danny Webb, of San Jacinto, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and brother, Denny Ray Howdeshell, of Poplar Bluff.
Visitation will be from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008 at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service and burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Black Creek Cemetery, in Butler County with the Rev. Jim Schremp officiating.
