Margaret Darlene (Lefevre) Allen

Margaret Darlene Allen, 86, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away Sunday, December 03, 2023, at Cedargate Health Care.

Margaret was born on May 27, 1937, to Emile and Myrtle (Richardson) Lefevre in Lehigh, Oklahoma. She married Ivan "Mickey" Leon Allen on October 17, 1955, in Wichita, Kansas.

Margaret was of the Baptist faith. She attended church at Westwood Baptist and Highland Church of Christ. She liked cooking, sewing, and spending time around the house. Margaret was a babysitter for several years and enjoyed being around children. Margaret and her husband proudly co-owned and operated an insurance agency in Thayer, Missouri for over 20 years. She was a devoted wife and mother.

Margaret is survived by one daughter, Teresa Allen; three sons, Michael (Teri) Allen, Mark Allen, and David Allen; two brothers, Phillip (Sherry) Lefevre, and Bill (Denise) Lefevre; one sister, Charlotte (Steve) Boyd; nine grandchildren, Brad, Brian, Brooke, Anna, Mark Jeffrey, Brittany, Blake, Nicholas, and Melissa; eight great-grandchildren; along with numerous extended family members and friends.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan “Mick” Leon Allen; one brother, Victor Lefevre.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 08, 2023, from 1:00-2:00pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will follow beginning at 2:00pm with Pastor Steve Proctor officiating. No burial to follow.
