Margaret ""Margie"" L. Pigg, 77, of Wappapello, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012 at Westwood Hills Healthcare Center.
Mrs. Pigg was born Aug. 26, 1935 in Poplar Bluff to the late Edward and Emma (Aden) Heifner. She was a member of Little Brushy Missionary Baptist Church in Wappapello, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Pigg loved spending time with her family, music, singing, and playing the piano and accordion.
On June 10, 1997, she married John Robert Pigg in Piggott, AR. He survives.
Other survivors include two children, Sharon White and husband, Larry, of Katy, TX. and Randy Urich and wife, Karen, of Bolivar, MO; a step-son, Alan Pigg and wife, Teresa of Wappapello; 5 grandchildren, Brandon Urich, Bryant Urich, Brittany Urich, Camillia Adkison and Nathan Parris; 7 great-grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandson; and a sister, Betty Burton of Cabot, AR.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral chapel with Rev. Tim Schultz officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
