Margaret Ann Roark

Margaret Ann Lewis Roark was born May 17, 1940, to Roma Buck Lewis and Gordon “Bus” Lewis in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She departed this life on July 4, 2026.

Margaret loved the Lord and people. Whether you were family, a neighbor, the cashier at the store or someone she passed on the sidewalk, her warm smile and conversation always left a lasting impression. She thrived on being the greeter at church and the “unofficial” greeter at Wal-Mart, making friends one aisle at a time. She believed that the best way to go through life is with a smile, a little sass and a conversation. She will be deeply missed, fondly remembered and impossible to forget.

Surviving are sons, Tony Arnold and Bobby (Janice) Arnold; grandchildren, Ashley (Josh) Cochran, Courtney (Andy) Thrasher, Brandon (Samantha) Arnold, and Whitney Bradley; six great-grandchildren; brother, Leon (Carla) Lewis; and several nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Barbara Baker and Susie Lewis; nephew, Scott Lewis; and her beloved daughter-in-law, Debbie Arnold.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 09, 2026, from 10am-11am at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will follow beginning at 11:00 with Pastor Jim Schremp officiating. Burial will take place at City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff, MO.
