Margie May Healy

Margie May Healy, 82, of Poplar Bluff died Monday, Feb. 14, 2011 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Healy was born Aug. 4, 1928 in Wayne County, Mo. She was a member of Peach Tree General Baptist Church in Piedmont, Mo., and was a homemaker. Mrs. Healy enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

On June 23, 1952, she married Edgar C. Healy in Piggott, Ark. He survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Susan A. Tubb and husband Michael of Poplar Bluff; 3 grandchildren, Jason Tubb and wife Christie, Kevin Tubb and wife Karen and Travis Tubb all of Poplar Bluff; 4 great-grandchildren, Marissa Murray, Megan Tubb, Mike Tubb and James Tubb; and a sister, Mary Rebecca Hampton of Doniphan, Mo.

Her parents, George L. and Ora M. Bartch McAllister preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Chapel with the Rev. Willis Smith officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
