Margie A. Willcut, 77, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016 at her residence.
Ms. Willcut was born Nov. 15, 1938 in Hendrickson, Mo. She attended Midland Church and formerly owned and operated Margie's Dinner Bell Cafe. Ms. Willcut enjoyed cooking and was best known for her chicken and dumplings. She also cooked for Bingo and other special occasions
Survivors include three sons, Bill Burgin and wife Janis of Jefferson City, Mo., Gene Beckham, Jr. of Poplar Bluff and Richard Beckham of La Porte, Texas; six grandchildren, Leigh Ann Bauman, Matthew Burgin, Lindsey Burgin, Samantha Cowin, Sierra Beckham, and Felecia Beckham; four great-grandchildren, Isabella Berlener, Olivia Berlener, Lila Berry and Addison Cowin and a sister, Wanda Reno of Crystal City.
Her father, Virdie Clubb; her mother, Grace Hendrickson Newton; two sisters, Shirley Wood and Velma Callow and two brothers, Bob Clubb and Kenny Newton also preceded her in death.
The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff with Pastor Rick White officiating. Interment will follow at Old Oak Hill Cemetery off W Highway in Butler County.
