Marilyn Diane (Davis) Vankirk

Marilyn Diane VanKirk, 61, of Poplar Bluff died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. VanKirk was born Sept. 4, 1950 in Poplar Bluff. She was a member of Westside Church of God, and was employed as Manager of Operations at First Community Bank in Poplar Bluff. Mrs. VanKirk enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and collecting.

On March 4, 1977, she married Donald VanKirk in Poplar Bluff. He survives.

Other survivors include two children: Kimberly Battista and her husband Carmin of Gilbert, Ariz., and Stacy VanKirk and her fiance, Tommy Fiske both of Summersville, Mo.; her mother, Mary Helen (Woodham) Davis of Poplar Bluff; a grandson, Jayce Battista; and a sister, Beverly Robertson of Poplar Bluff.

Her father, Arthur Davis preceded Mrs. VanKirk in death.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral chapel with Bro. Billy Wiles officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
