Mark Allen Alexander, 53, of Poplar Bluff, MO., departed this earth on February 13, 2017.
Mark was a lover of people and enjoyed life. He enjoyed spending time with his family, which consist of: his father, Albert “Cotton”Alexander, his mother, Linda Alexander, his sister Lisa Boyer (Carlos), his nieces, Cindy Seibert (Ben), Lexi Nippe, and his nephew Ryan Alexander.
Mark enjoyed four wheeling, bowling, mini golf, chocolate shakes (especially the cherry), watching Family Feud, wrestling and any other activities that he could be around people. Mark was given 3-6 months to live, after being diagnosed with a brain tumor in September of 2014. God had other plans for him. Mark got to meet and become friends with many people during his illness. He impacted many lives and was impacted by many. He was especially fond of the Staff of Danny Bell and Cambridge Adult Cay Care, where he enjoyed many good times over the last few months. Mark had a joy and love for life and lived life to it’s fullest.
Although Mark’s infectious personality will be sorely missed, he was a Faithful Believer and Follower of Jesus Christ. He has been reunited in Heaven with his sister, Cindy Alexander, his grandparents, John and Ethel Alexander, and Ralph and Alma Robison.
In lieu of flowers, any donations can be made to Cambridge Adult Daycare, where he loved to spend time and was shown so much love.
A graveside service and burial will take place at 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Mt. Zion Cemetery with Mr. Adam Noles officiating.
