Marolyn Louise Rommel

Marolyn Louise Rommel, 72, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Marolyn, the daughter of the late Hanley and Louise Belle Rimmer Lee, was born Nov. 7, 1944 in Poplar Bluff. She was of the Baptist faith, and was a homemaker. Marolyn enjoyed making crafts and embroidering.

In 1969, Marolyn married Paul E. Rommel, Sr. in Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death in 1981.

Survivors include two children, Paul E. Rommel, Jr. and Staci Rommel of Poplar Bluff; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four nieces, Linda Haynes, Shirley Johnson, Patti Jarrell and Laura Hillis; and a nephew, Larry Wells.

A sister and two brothers also preceded Marolyn in death.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Little Brushy Cemetery in Wappapello with the Rev. Dustin Williams officiating.
