Martha Ann Fields

Martha Ann Fields, 83, of Poplar Bluff died Friday, Dec. 10, 2010 at her residence.

Mrs. Fields was born March 11, 1927 in Gideon, Mo. She was a member of New Home General Baptist Church, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Fields enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing and flower gardening.

On July 23, 1943 she married Joseph Robert ""Joe"" Fields in Corning, Ark. He preceded her in death on April 7, 2002.

Survivors include three daughters, Billie Daugherty and husband, Lee of Poplar Bluff, Barbara Stucker and husband, Danny of Jackson, Mo. and Gwen Gray and husband, Jerry of Pevely, Mo.; a son, Bob Fields and wife, Dora of Nashville, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren, Melissa Welker, Christy Amelunke, Kelly Perry, J.D. Gray, Amber Fields, Bobby Fields, Jan Fields, Billy Templemire, Terry Templemire, Galena Bell, Lynn Kinsey, Michelle Willard and Diana Carpenter; 22 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Cheyenne Gomer and husband, Cecil of Tucson, Ariz.

Her parents, Clyde ""Savage"" and Sylvia Irene (Thornbrough) Entrikin, daughter, JoAnn Templemire, sisters, Edna Smith, Yvonne Entrikin and Lola Entrikin, and brothers, Bill Entrikin and Eston Entrikin also preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff with Rev. Calvin Buhler officiating.
