Marvin Paul Kelley

Marvin Paul Kelley, 72, of Wappapello, Mo. died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014 at his residence.

Mr. Kelley was born Jan. 28, 1941 in Doniphan, Mo. He was a retired self-employed business owner and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mr. Kelley enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and hunting.

On April 16, 1966, he married Marjorie Leimetter in Wheaton, Ill. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Kevin Kelley (Michelle) of Mickleton, New Jersey and Keith Kelley of Johnson City, Tenn.; five grandchildren: Ben, Rachael, Jordan, Kasey and Kaitlyn Kelley; and a sister, Betty Saunders of Doniphan, Mo.

His parents, Charles F. and Ermine Roberts Kelley, a sister, Caroldine Bessent and brother, Charles M. ""Pete"" Kelley preceded Mr. Kelley in death.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Wappapello. A celebration of Life will follow at 2 p.m. in the Chapel with Rev. Jim Schremp officiating. The service will conclude with full military honors outside the Chapel.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wappapello VFW or Wappapello Eagles Lodge.
