Mary Jean Bingham

Mary Jean Bingham, 89, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at her residence.

She was born on June 27, 1928 to Nathan and Effie (Bond) Timmons in Doniphan, MO. Mary owned Que Sera Boutique in Valley Plaza.

Mary is survived by her children, Donna New and Lyndal “Stag” Bates and wife, Diane all of Poplar Bluff, MO; one daughter-in-law, Carolyn Bates of Poplar Bluff, MO; nine grandchildren, Dale (Denise) Tinsley, Karen Widding, Cathy Kelly, Shane (April) Bates, Eric Montgomery, Sean Casey, Benjamin Casey, Chance (Trisha) Whitehead, and Lance (Mandy) Bates; seventeen great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by husband, Eldo Bingham; her parents; two sons, David and Darrell Bates; one son-in-law, Bill New; and five sisters and three brothers.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 1- 2:00 pm at Moore Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff.
Funeral services will be held immediately following visitation at 2:00 pm at the Moore Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will take place in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
