Mary Ellen (Kahvee) Bosley

Mary Ellen Bosley (nickname Kahvee) lost her battle with cancer on Sunday, February 10, 2013. As a young woman this feisty, high spirited gal danced her way across ballrooms in southeastern Ohio and Wheeling, West Virginia. In her twenties she went to work as ""rosie the riveter"" at aircraft plants in support of our flying soldiers in World War II. She was the daughter of Carl and Eva Tarbet who spent most of their lives in southeast Ohio. She lost her husband, James F. Bosley, in 1973 to a heart attack.

She is survived by her only son, Dr. Carl Bosley, of Poplar Bluff, MO who, along with his wife, Carla, have cared for her in her declining years. She moved in with them to help care for her grandchildren as they worked their way through medical school, internship and residence. Her grandchildren, Dr. Trudi Bosley Griffo, Gynecologist in Fayetteville, NC, Randall Bosley, Senior Consultant, Info Global, in Nashville, Tn, Amy Bosley Nunez, Information Management Sales Specialist, IBM in Atlanta, GA and C.J. Bosley, Systems Analyst, OHL in Brentwood, TN, were all home for a final visit. Kahvee was also blessed with six beautiful great grandchildren, Elaina, Danielle, Christina, Alejandro, Isabella and Emma Kate.

It was her wish that there ""be no sad funeral services"". She didn't want flowers or memorial services. She wanted to be cremated and have her ashes buried ""on top of Jimmy"" in California. She asked that we all gather for a Celebration of Life ceremony at the cemetery, then ""everyone should go to Disneyland and have fun for the rest of the day"".
