Mary Helen Davis

Mary “Helen” Davis, age 93, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on April 1st, 2026. She was born on September 12, 1932, in a log cabin in Iron City, Tennessee. She was married to Arthur R. Davis on November 12, 1949, in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on February 25, 2010.

Helen was also preceded in death by her daughter, Marilyn Vankirk, on August 5, 2012; her parents, William A. and Mary Ellen Woodham; and all eleven of her siblings: five brothers, Ralph, Quinton, Gene, E.L., and Jimmy Woodham; six sisters; Christine, Pauline, Hazel, Odean, Zelda, and Syble.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Beverly Robertson; four grandchildren, Colby Robertson, Jake Robertson, Ashley (Robertson) Carr, and Stacy (Vankirk) Fiske; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

Graveside service will be held at 11am, Tuesday, April 7th, 2026, at Qulin City Cemetery in Qulin, MO.
