Mary C. Dunlap

Mary C. Dunlap, 75, of Poplar Bluff died Friday, June 10, 2011 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Mrs. Dunlap was born Sept. 25, 1935 in Fairdealing, Mo., and was a graduate of Doniphan High School. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Poplar Bluff, and from 1961 to 2009 had worked alongside her family at Dunlap Implement Co. Mrs. Dunlap enjoyed spending time with her family, riding in fast cars, going to classic car shows, attending auctions, antiquing, cooking, sewing and gardening.

On March 11, 1956, she married Bill Dunlap in Fairdealing, Mo. Mr. Dunlap survives.

Other survivors include her children, Cynthia Baldwin and husband Will of Denver, Colo., Darrell Dunlap and wife Carol and Darren Dunlap and wife Brandy all of Fulton, Mo.; grandchildren, Dillon Dunlap and Peyton Dunkel; 3 sisters, Sylvia Childs and husband Robert of Town and Country, Mo., Wilma Allen of Glendale, Mo., Geri Luetchfield and husband John of St. Louis, Mo. and; 6 brothers, Norman Allen and wife Alma of Poplar Bluff, Arthur Allen and wife Claudia of Denver, Colo., Glen Allen also of Poplar Bluff, Ray Allen and wife Margaret of Louisiana, Mo., Marvin Allen and Della of St. Peters, Mo. and Vernon Allen and wife Debbie of Dexter, Mo. and; and numerous nieces

Preceding Mrs. Dunlap in death were her parents, Alvin and Sylvia Watson Allen, sisters, Audrey Ortega and Sharon Davidson and brothers, Dale Allen and Clifford Allen.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Buck officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens in Poplar Bluff.
