Mary Clydeen (Toole) Hofmann

Mary Clydeen Hofmann, 77, of Poplar Bluff died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Hofmann was born April 8, 1934 in White Oak, Mo. She was of the Baptist faith, and had retired from Crane Insurance Agency. Mrs. Hofmann enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, gardening, crocheting, reading, taking care of animals and feeding the birds.
She was married to Elmer Joseph Hofmann, Jr. Mr. Hofmann preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 1998.
Survivors include her children, Cynthia Willoughby and husband Phillip of Harrah, Okla., Sherry Hofmann of Poplar Bluff and Teresa Hofmann of St. Louis, Mo.; grandson, Joseph Todd Hofmann; sisters, Donna F. ?Sue? Morgan and husband Lanny of Kennett, Mo., Mavis Overall of Wappapello, Mo., Terrie Todd and husband Keith of Kennett, Mo. and Carolyn Mullins and husband Tim of Pollard, Ark.; and brothers, Farrell Shipman and wife Cindy of Qulin, Mo. and Quinten Paul ?Bud? Shipman and wife Pat of Holcomb, Mo.
Her father, Clyde Toole, mother and stepfather, Henrietta (Gray) and Clarence Eugene Shipman, sister, Kathy Diane Shipman and brothers, Connie Eugene Shipman and Bob Shipman also preceded Mrs. Hofmann in death.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Chapel with Rev. Don Richmann officiating. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo.
