Mary G. Hooper

Mary G. Hooper, 90, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 at Sunset Hills Health and Rehab Center in St. Louis, MO.

Mary, the daughter of the late William F. Arnold and Jaylee Willison Arnold Stinson, was born June 3, 1927 in Central City, Ky. She was of the Pentecostal faith and was a homemaker. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, playing the piano and quilting.

Survivors include one daughter-in-law Linda S. Hooper; and many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Thomas F. Hooper, her five children, Joyce A. Hooper, Duane "Tom" Hooper, Janet L. (Hooper) Webb, Jerry D. (Debbie) Hooper and Ronald E. Hooper preceded Mary as well as two brothers and five sisters.

The family visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 7 at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff, with public visitation following at 11 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. with her granddaughter Vicky (Hooper) Starbuck officiating. Burial will be at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley, Mo.
