Mary L. McKinney, 76, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Monday, June 5, 2017 at Westwood Hills Health and Rehab Center in Poplar Bluff.
Mrs. McKinney, the daughter of the late Joseph Albert and Edith Viola (Taylor) Julian, was born Oct. 28, 1940 in Corning, Ark. She was a member of the Green Forest Church of Christ. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Mrs. McKinney owned and operated the Broadway Café and Dunn Hotel in her younger years. She later worked for J.C. Penney. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her son, Kevin (Traci) Bramlett of Jackson, Mo; three grandchildren, Adam (Lauren) Bramlett, Christopher Bramlett and Hunter Bramlett; two great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Bramlett and Onesimus Bramlett; a sister, Jo (Don) Richardson of Ocean Springs, Miss. and one brother, Jim (Mary) Julian of Corning, Ark.A sister, Glenna Baker preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. Adam Noles will officiate. Graveside services will follow at Corning Cemetery in Corning Ark. at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the American Cancer Society.
