Mary Jane (Raper) Morrow

Mary Jane Morrow, 84, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Cedargate Healthcare in Poplar Bluff.

Mrs. Morrow was born Nov. 19, 1931 in Naylor, Mo. She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. During her earlier years, Mrs. Morrow worked at the old Avalon Motel and later at the Pear Tree Inn in Poplar Bluff. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

On Nov. 29, 1952, she married John Morrow in Corning, Ark. He survives.

Other survivors include two children: Debbie Morrow and Paul Dewayne Morrow of Minneapolis, Minn.; three grandchildren: Tina King of Minneapolis, Chris Estes and Michael Shain Estes of Poplar Bluff; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A son, Virgil David Estes preceded her in death.

A graveside service will be a 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 3rd at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo. with the Rev. Schremp officiating.
