Mary Wilma (Jenkins) Scalf

Mary Wilma Scalf, 91, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Thursday, Mar. 14, 2013 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Scalf was born April 21, 1922 in Cuba, Ill. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge and the V.F.W. in Poplar Bluff, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Scalf enjoyed spending time with her family, and her cats.

In 1943, she married Archie Scalf in Rock Island, Ill. He preceded her in death in 1973.

Survivors include her children, Karen Reed, of Jacksonville, Fla., Carol Shaw (Carlos), of Canton, Ill., and Archie Scalf, of the Philippines; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Flossie Doyle, of Poplar Bluff and Mary Herrick, of Lewistown, Ill; three half sisters, Carol George, Arlene Walthall and Deena Moore; and a half brother, Doug Jenkins.

Interment of Mrs. Scalf's ashes will be in Cuba, Ill. at a later date.
