Mary Alice Tagnani, 98, of Poplar Bluff, MO went to be with our Lord in Heaven during the early hours of the morning on Wednesday January 16, 2019 at Hunter's Acres Nursing Facility.
Mary was born to Essie Bell and Willie Kirkland on February 4, 1921 in Verona; MS. Mary lived an exciting and adventurous life in her earlier years giving life to many grand stories for all generations to come. She was known to be a little sassy, spirited and bold. She loved life, her family, her dogs and shopping on QVC! She enjoyed working as a hair stylist for most of her life.
In Heaven she joins her parents, her late husband Donald Tagnani, a son Dan Gambrell, brother Hank Kirkland and 2 grandchildren, Gail Danee Kisley and LenAllen Gambrell.
She is survived by one brother, Carey Kirkland and sister-in-law Linda Kirkland of Vermont, one daughter Mary Gail Jenkins and Son-in-law Louis Wayne Jenkins of Poplar Bluff, MO. 4 Grandchildren; Gary Wayne Jenkins, Lisa Danette Tolbird, Larry Thomas Jenkins all of the St. Louis Mo area, and Patrick Micheal Jenkins of Poplar Bluff. 17 great-grandchildren, 19 great-great grandchildren and 1 great-great-great grandchild. Along with many other extended family members.
Mary will be laid to rest next to her husband at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff, Mo following graveside services on Friday January 18, 2019 at 2PM.
