Mary B. Verble

Mary B. Verble, 95, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Oakdale Care Center.

Mrs. Verble, the daughter of the late Edward Franklin and Audra Leota (Patterson) Alsobrook was born February 15, 1923 in Chafee, Mo. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Poplar Bluff. Mrs. Verble enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the movies with her daughter Mary and cooking.

On July 19, 1947, she married Bill Verble in Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death on July 26, 1991.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary (Glen) Thornton of Poplar Bluff, three grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

A sister, Maxine Ancell and a brother, Kenneth Alsobrook preceded her in death.
