Mary Ruby Worley

Mary Ruby Worley, 88, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., formerly of Qulin, Mo., died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Miss Worley was born Oct. 9, 1925, in Butler County to the late Clyde and Verna Alford Worley. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Qulin and was a homemaker. Miss Worley enjoyed spending time with her family, quilting, gardening and drawing.

Survivors include five nieces; two nephews; many great nieces and great nephews; and many great-great nieces and great great nephews.

A sister, Nina Jeffries and two brothers, Harry Worley and Harold Worley, a special cousin, Corbett Worley, two nephews, one niece and one great-niece also preceded Miss Worley in death.

Visitation will begin at 12 noon Sunday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral chapel with Pastor John Gipson officiating. Burial will be at Marble Hill Cemetery, off North Main Street in Poplar Bluff.
