Mary L. Young

Mary L. Young, 75, of Poplar Bluff formerly of Lehigh Acres, Fla. died Saturday, June 20, 2009 in Poplar Bluff.
Mrs. Young was born Nov. 10, 1933 in Manila, Ark. She was of the Protestant faith, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Young previously worked in Labelle, Fla. as a bridge technician. She enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling.
In Jan. 1997 she married Frosty Young in Gatlinburg, Tenn. He survives.
Other survivors include 6 children: Kathy Weaver of Columbus, Ohio, Michael Weaver of Ft. Seybert, West Va., Shields ""Skip"" Weaver of Brooksville, Fla., Linda Kramer of Columbus, Ohio, Crad Weaver of Ft. Myers, Fla., and Jack Alan Weaver, of Gahana, Ohio; 3 step-children: Roger Young of Troy, Ohio, Michael Young of Covington, Ohio and Virginia Campbell of New Carlisle, Ohio; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Faye Tuberville, of Ellsinore and Virgie Clayton of Poplar Bluff; and two brothers, Louis Hicks, of Marshall, Tex and Alvin Hicks of Labelle, Fla.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel with the Rev. Mike Evans officiating. Interment will be at Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens in Ft. Myers, Fla.
