May I. Williams

May I. Williams, 83, of Wappapello died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009 at her residence.

Mrs. Williams was born Sept. 22, 1926 in St. Louis, and was of the Methodist faith. She worked for several years as a school secretary in Carrollton, and later at the Butler County Health Department. Mrs. Williams enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and reading.

On Oct. 4, 1975 she married Everett Williams. He preceded her in death on May 1, 2000.

Survivors include 3 sons: Steven Edward Morris and wife Bonni of Wappapello, Gary Wayne Morris of Poplar Bluff and Kevin Dean Morris of Azel, Tex.; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Williams parents, Charles O. and Isabell I. Boucher also preceded her in death.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Wappapello Cotrell Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ernie Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Little Brushy Cemetery at Wappapello.
