Melba May (Ennis) Medley

Melba May Medley, 87, of Poplar Bluff, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Medley was born Aug. 26, 1925 in St. Clair, Mo. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Medley enjoyed spending time with her family, her church and church activities.

On Nov. 25, 1943, she married Archie C. Medley in St. Clair, Mo. He preceded her in death on July 14, 2007.

Survivors include a sister, Hazel Crow of St. Clair, Mo.; and one nephew, Vernon Crow of St. Clair, Mo.

Her parents, Leslie William and Ella Mary (Johnson) Ennis, and a daughter, Ella Louise Medley also preceded Mrs. Medley in death.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral chapel with Rev. Jim Osborn officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
