Michael Gregory Clayborne

Michael Gregory Clayborne, 19, of Poplar Bluff, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Michael was born Dec. 10, 1992 in Newberg, NY. He was of the Baptist faith, and had worked for A. O. Company as a caregiver for the handicapped. Michael enjoyed basketball, football and video games.

Survivors include 2 children, Mahkala Clayborne and Kaleah Clayborne, of Poplar Bluff; his mother, Donna (Clark) Clayborne of Poplar Bluff; a sister, Lexis Clayborne of Detroit, Mich.; 2 brothers, Mark Clayborne and Jamal Clayborne, both of Poplar Bluff; 2 grandmothers, Joyce Clayborne, of Highland Falls, NY, and Jean Jones, of Sikeston; and great-grandfather, Clarence Jones, of Poplar Bluff; 2 aunts, Gina Clark and Michelle Clark-Dismuke, both of Nashville, Tenn.; 3 uncles, Jessy Clayborne, Derrick Clayborne and Terence Clayborne, all of Highland Falls, NY; and a host of other family members and friends.

His father, Mark Clayborne and great-grandmother, Dorothy Jones preceded Michael in death.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6th at Mt. Calvary Power House Church of God with the funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Johnny Williams Sr. and Dr. Ronnie Webb will officiate. Burial will be at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff with Josh Griffin, Patrick Pete Bryant, David Duke Lewis,.Shaquille Dudley, Toriana Dudley and Larecus Thomas serving as pallbearers.
