Michael Christopher Hefner

Michael Christopher Hefner, 45, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016 at his residence.

Michael was born Dec. 15, 1970 in Poplar Bluff. He was of the Catholic faith and had previously worked at Bailey's Auto Body Shop as well as the Poplar Bluff City Street Department. Michael enjoyed spending time with his family, playing pool, riding four wheelers, watching NASCAR racing and the Dallas Cowboys play football.

Survivors include a son, Aaron Hefner of the home; his mother, Sheila Wheelis Vinson and her husband, Howard; and his father, Glen M. Hefner all of Poplar Bluff.

The visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel with the funeral service following at 11 a.m. Deacon David Farris will officiate. Interment will be at Military Crossing Cemetery in Wayne County.
