Michael James Horner

Michael (Mike) James Horner, 68 of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at his residence.

Mike was born December 9, 1951 in West Branch, MI the son of James and Margie (Dack) Horner.  He married the love of his life Gwendolyn (Gwennie) on May 27, 2000 in Las Vegas. Mike and Gwen were a true love story from the day they met sharing right at 20 years together.

Mike was the Sales Manager for Baldwin Ford Toyota for 36 years.   He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and being outdoors and above all spending time with his Gwennie.

Survivors include Gwen Horner of the home; his parents, James and Margie Horner; three children, Sarah (Lee) Hobbs, Jamee Gaines and Shayne Horner;a daughter in law Lori Mikel; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two sisters, Pam Chamberlain (Mark Orton) and Patti (Dean) Bishop.

His son, Josh Burson and a granddaughter, Olivia Jane preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Willow Ridge Funeral Service.  A private funeral service will be held with the Rev. Lonnie Mittag officiating.
