Michael Christian Ross

Michael Christian Ross, 36, of Poplar Bluff died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012 in Butler County.

Mr. Ross was born April 23, 1976 in Ste. Genevieve, Mo. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps, and worked for Union Pacific Railroad as a welder. Mr. Ross enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his parents, Thomas ""Tom"" and Becki (Doherty) Ross of Poplar Bluff; three children: Emma Thomas, Chloe Thomas and Hayden Neal; a sister, Rachael Wilkerson and husband, Tim, of Poplar Bluff; a niece, Shelby Ross; a nephew, Matthew Wilkerson; his grandmothers, Lois Doherty of Arnold, Mo. and Patricia Ross of Ste. Genevieve, Mo.; and close friend, Becky Boyce of Poplar Bluff.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral chapel with Pastor Scott Sifford officiating. The Patriot Guard Riders will provide a processional escort to Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo. where burial with full military honors will begin at 12:00 p.m.
