Michael Larry Sisk

Michael Larry Sisk, age 67, of North East, MD, passed away Wednesday, September 1st, 2010, at Union Hospital in Elkton, MD.
Born in Poplar Bluff, MO, on March 23, 1943, Mr. Sisk was the son of the late Roy Crockett Sisk and Serilda (Rilda) Arlene Cline. Also preceding him in death was his stepmother Effie Louis Langley. He was a graduate of Poplar Bluff High School and received his Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Maryland. He was employed for many years as a Senior Quality Control Engineer for DuPont. Upon his retirement with DuPont he continued his career with BE & K Engineering of DE until his passing.
Michael enjoyed many activities and had diverse interests throughout his life including spelunking, rock collecting, coin collecting, gardening, reading, fishing, camping, and above all the time he spent with his family.
He will be greatly missed by his daughters Tracy Dumolo and son-in-law Paul, Susan Sisk-Price and son-in-law Thomas Dougherty, and Carrie Sisk, all of North East, MD, and grandchildren Joseph Edwards, Gabriel Walter Sceals, Lauren Dumolo, Cassie Dumolo, Cheyenne Dumolo, Jaden Dumolo, Tarren Dumolo, and Kara Dumolo, his sister Neva Josephine ""Jo"" Sisk Drake and brother-in-law Charles Drake, sister-in-law Alva Sisk, brother-in-law Ray Untrauer, and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was proceeded in death by his wife of 43 years, Victoria Susan O'Connor Sisk, grandson Travis Lane Edwards, siblings Ray Purnell Sisk, Roland Eugene Sisk, Clovia Maxine Sisk Taylor, Alva Leroy Sisk, Dosha Evelyn Sisk Goodrum Pratt, Herschel Cleon Sisk, J.W. ""Jay"" Sisk, Erma Jean Sisk Untrauer, Verna Mae Sisk Loness, and Billy Gail Sisk.
Family and friends are invited for visitation at Cotrell Funeral Home, 701 Vine St., Poplar Bluff, MO, on Friday, September 10, 2010 from 5-6 PM (family) and 6-8 PM (public).
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 11th at 10 AM, Sacred Heart Church, 123 N. 8th St., Poplar Bluff, MO. Burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
