Michael Raymond Stackle

Michael “Mike” Raymond Stackle, 57, of St. Genevieve, Missouri, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2026.

Born on October 12, 1968, Mike was the son of Raymond and Marcella Stackle. After high school, Mike went on to serve in the United States Air Force from 1991 to 2013. He worked as a helicopter mechanic and retired as a Master Sergeant.

Mike loved the outdoors, camping, hiking, travel, and working on old cars. He made special memories with his children sharing these interests.

Mike is survived by his children Jordan and her husband Mitchell Fornecker, Michael Stackle, and Emma Stackle, along with his two grandchildren Luke and Elliot Fornecker, his brother Mark and his wife Gwen Stackle as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Stackle; mother, Marcella Stackle; step-mother, Joyce Stackle; four sisters, Diane Stevens, Alice "Cheryl" Lee, Lori Ann Story, and Kathleen “Kate” Molitor; brother, Robert “Bob” Stackle.

Mike was deeply loved by his children and the friends and family he leaves behind. There will be a memorial service with Military Honors on Friday, October 23, 2026 at 1:30 pm at Salisbury National Cemetery, 202 Government Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the National Ataxia Foundation.
