Mildred Landreth, 86, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Monday, Aug. 22, 2016 at her son's residence in Salem, Mo.
Mrs. Landreth, the daughter of the late Clarence and Margaret Livingston Pierce, was born Oct. 24, 1929 in Poplar Bluff. She was a member of First Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Over the years Mrs. Landreth worked in retail sales at Graber Women's Clothing as well as New Berry's Department Store. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and her cats and dogs.
In 1947, she married Irvin Landreth in Corning, Ark. He preceded her in death.
Other survivors include a son, David (Melissa) Landreth; and two grandchildren, Sarah Landreth of Salem and David Cole Landreth of Poplar Bluff.
Two brothers, C.J. Pierce and Wayburn Pierce also preceded Mrs. Landreth in death.
A graveside service and burial will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
