Mildred Juanita Pigg

Mildred Juanita Pigg, 91, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Friday, December 27, 2013 at Westwood Hills Healthcare Center.

Mrs. Pigg was born April 22, 1922, in Wilson, Arkansas, to James Lawrence and Mandy Ella Williams Pennington.

On October 5, 1937, she married Rev. Leonard Eual Pigg. He preceded her in death on August 23, 1999.

Mrs. Pigg was a member of Harviell Baptist Church, and was a homemaker who dedicated her life to serving the Lord.

Survivors include a daughter, Joann Pigg Cosbey of Poplar Bluff, a son, Earl Pigg of Poplar Bluff, 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Her parents, a son, Gaylon Pigg , 3 brothers and 5 sisters also preceded her in death.

Visitation will be Tuesday, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, with funeral services following at 2:00 pm. Rev. Robert Edwards will be officiating. Interment will be at Kinsey Cemetery in Butler County.
