Minnie Elizabeth Lashley

Minnie Elizabeth Lashley, 71, of Poplar Bluff passed away Sunday. Dec. 10, 2017 at her residence.

Minnie, the daughter of the late Charles D. and Osa F. (Durrow) Gilbert, was born Oct. 28, 1946 in Wayne County, Mo. She was of the Pentecostal faith and had retired as a Home Health Caregiver. Minnie’s greatest love was her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her greatest joy was loving and spending time her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Minnie enjoyed taking care of and helping people, being outdoors, gardening, fishing and bargain hunting.

Survivors include her sons Curtis E. Fouts, Sr., Robert D. Fouts, Jody D. Fouts and Tim Painter all of Poplar Bluff; 18 grandchildren: Curtis E. Fouts, Jr., Brian C. Fouts, Lincoln P. Fouts, Liberty G. Fouts, Victoria L. Roberts, Cory Kieffex, Angelique Burke, Linda L Fouts, Amber L. Fouts, Jessica D. Fouts, Damien A. McElhaney, Dustin L. McElhaney, Tiffany D. Morris, Sue A. Morris, Clarrisa B. Painter, Levi T. Painter, Samantha L. N. Painter and Alexander N. E. Painter; 15 great-grandchildren: Natalie M. Fouts, Braydin M. Fouts, Kyson J. Fouts, Jaydon D. Roberts, Jaydhen M. Fouts, Zayne Jakway, Trenton R. Scott, Braden K. McElhaney, Finnian Q. McElhaney, Case G. E. Painter, Kenzlie R. H. Painter, Jesse Painter, Grace Painter, Kendell Painter and Olivia Dollins; and a sister Mary JoAnn Elder of Greenville, Mo.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. The Pastor Kent Miller and Pastor Randy West will officiate. Burial will be at Black River Cemetery in Butler County.
