Murdean Warbington

Murdean Warbington, 90, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Saturday July 12, 2014, at her residence.

Mrs. Warbington was born December 28, 1923, in Sikeston, MO, to the late Ray and Maude (Jeffries) Wisdom.

On March 29, 1946 she married Joseph Ward Warbington in Sikeston, he preceded her in death July 6, 1975. They owned and operated WW Sales Co. and Uncle Joe's Discount Store. She was a member of the First Church of God, and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her hobbies included scrap booking, reading, and collecting dolls.

She is survived by her children: Joe Warbington (Barb), Gena Berry (Ronnie), Cindy Warbington, and Terri Finertie (Stewart), all of Poplar Bluff, and Pam Meadows (Miles) of Bloomfield, MO; grandchildren: Lachelle Arredondo (Shawn), Christina Fowler (Chris), James Warbington, Karla Cassinger (Rich), Deanna Adams, Tracy Peters (Jack), Tammy Dabbs (Danny), Stacey Little (Dustin) Chris Berry (Hilary), Leah Finertie, Madison Zamzow (Justin), Kory Copeland (Tonya), Kayla Finertie, Josh Copeland and Gabe Finertie; great-grandchildren: Ayslyn, Callie, Macy, Mariah, Chelsey, Craig, Nocona, Marissa, Eli, Kylee, Lane, Cami, Ty, Axel, Logan, Caleb, Kassidy, Nevaeh, Westin, and Harper; a brother, Ray Wisdom of East Carondelet, IL; a sister, Janet Hency of Poplar Bluff; and many nieces and nephews.

Three sisters: Mildred Counselor, Pauline Sundberg, and Betty Onchuck, also preceded her in death.

Visitation will be Monday at First Church of God from 6 ? 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with Rev. Ben Higgins and Rev. Scott Andrews officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Church of God, 3482 S. Westwood, Poplar Bluff, MO, or UCAN in Poplar Bluff.
