Nadine E. French, 83, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016 at Westwood Hills Healthcare Center in Poplar Bluff.
Mrs. French, the daughter of the late Herman and Mary Wright Cochran, was born April 1, 1933 in Butler County, Mo. She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. Mrs. French enjoyed listening to music and playing the piano. Her greatest joy was spending time with her son and his family.
On March 20, 1975, she married James French in Benton, Ill. He preceded her in death on Feb. 20, 1984.
Survivors include her son, Terry Wayne (Ruth) Jackson of Venice, Fla.; a granddaughter, Kristin (Marty) Waynick of St. Louis, Mo.; two sisters, Mary Evelyn Grye of Punta Gorda, Fla. and Virginia Eiler of Poplar Bluff; a brother, Robert Cochran of Poplar Bluff; and several nieces and nephews.
Three brothers, Charles Cochran, Joseph Cochran and Russell Cochran also preceded her in death.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
