Nancy Laura Glass

Nancy Laura Glass, 66, of Wappapello, died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008 at her residence.

Mrs. Glass was born June 11, 1942, in Nashua, N.H. She had retired as a cook for Marilyn's Country Kitchen. Mrs. Glass enjoyed spending time with and taking care of her family, reading and crocheting.

On June 19, 1958 she married Billy Dale Glass, in Tijuana, Mexico. He survives.

Other survivors include five children, Billy Dale Glass, Jr., of Wappapello, David Lee Glass, of Puxico, Cheryl Renee' Cavenar, of Festus, Tommy Ray Glass, of Ellsinore, and Elizabeth Raye Glass, also of Wappapello; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Edith McClellan, of Wappapello; and two brothers, Leslie Chaplin, of Sun Valley, Calif. and Herbert Chaplin, of Nashua, N.H.

Visitation will begin at 12 noon Friday at the Wappapello Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel with the Rev. Arvin Haynes officiating. Entombment of Mrs. Glass ashes will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3rd at the Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery, in Bloomfield.
