Nancy Earlean Pruett, 99, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on November 26, 2025, at Aspire Caring Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Earlean was born on May 15, 1926, to Marvin and Lela (Hyatt) Presson in Danville, Arkansas. She married Glendon "Glen" Owen Pruett on November 02, 1943, in Sikeston, MO.
Earlean was a Christian and very strong in her faith. Her favorite saying was "God knows all about it". She received her first guitar at 16 years old and taught herself to play. She had a beautiful voice and began singing in church with her sisters at a young age. Earlean had an overall love for music. She was a talented quilter and made many beautiful pieces. She worked and retired from the Florsheim Shoe Company in Poplar Bluff. Earlean was active at the Wappapello Civic Center for many years. She enjoyed working in her garden, canning, and spending time with her family. She will truly be missed.
Earlean is survived by her two sisters, Bernice Doyle and Belva Jean Mulligan; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Earlean was preceded in death by her husband, Glendon Pruett; two sisters, Teresa and Mildred; one brother, Amil.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Crown Hospice, Aspire Nursing Home, Ms. Betty and Ms. Linda for their care of Earlean.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 01, 2025, from 12:00-1:00pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will follow beginning at 1:00 pm. Burial will take place at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Bell City, MO.
