Naomi Onita (Pool) Meyer

Naomi Onita Pool Meyer, 79,of Poplar Bluff, died Monday,June 8, 2015, at Cedar Gate Nursing Home in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Naomi was born on August 15, 1935 in Hayti, Missouri to Roscoe and Katie Pool. She married McCurry Meyer Jr. on August 1, 1952. Naomi was a member of First Baptist Church in Caruthersville, Missouri.
Naomi worked as an electronics manager at Wal Mart and as a counselor for the state of Missouri.

She is survived by a sister, Kathleen Robertson of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; two sons, McCurry (Tra) Meyer III of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Mark Meyer (Betty Meyer) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one grandson, Josh Meyer (Kristi Meyer) of Hensley, Arkansas; one granddaughter, Maureen Fanta (Jesse Fanta) of Aledo, Texas; three great grandchildren, Jesse Fanta, Jillian Fanta and McCurry Meyer IV; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, McCurry Meyer Jr., her parents, Roscoe and Katie Pool, three sisters, Carolyn, Wilma and Christine and one brother, Windell.
