Naomi B (Wilson) Styles

Naomi B. Wilson Styles, 93, of Poplar Bluff, formerly of Arkansas, died Monday, March 31, 2014 at The Manor in Poplar Bluff.

Mrs. Styles was born Sept. 22, 1920 in Trumann, Ark., and was a graduate of Bauxite High School in Bauxite, Ark. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, where she was also a member of the Ola Sparkman Quilting Group. Mrs. Styles enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, crocheting and quilting.

On Aug. 28, 1941, she married Herman A. Styles, Sr. in Little Rock, Ark. He preceded her in death on June 17, 2013.

Survivors include three children: Herman A. Styles, Jr. and wife, Jill, of Poplar Bluff, Judy Anderson, of Dothan, Ala., and Richard Styles and wife, Bonner, of Virginia Beach, Va.; and eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Her parents, Willie N. and Laura E. Blackman Wilson, a sister, Anne Teskey and two brothers, Jim Wilson and Sam Wilson also preceded Mrs. Styles in death.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
