Napoleon Bonaparte Ramsey, 89, of Tomball, Tex., formerly of Missouri died Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Grace Care Center in Tomball.
Mr. Ramsey was born June 15, 1921 in Spring Creek, Mo., and was a graduate of the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo. He was of the Baptist faith, and had retired as a sales manager for Dow Chemical Co. Mr. Ramsey was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in WWII. He enjoyed fishing and sailing.
On April 25, 1947, he married Marion Joan Kriston in Jefferson City, Mo. She preceded him in death in 1999.
Survivors include his daughter, Helen Jessica Ramsey of Montrose, Pa.; and a brother, Paul E. Ramsey of Tomball, Tex.
His parents, Charles and Cora Elizabeth Perkins Ramsey and sister, Lillian Elizabeth Ramsey also preceded Mr. Ramsey in death.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service with full military honors will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff with Rev. Jim Schremp officiating.
