Nathan W Zumwalt

Nathan W. Zumwalt, 72, peacefully passed away Friday, September 4, 2026. Nathan was born in Poplar Bluff on December 30, 1953, to Robert and Sally Zumwalt.

Nathan attended school in Poplar Bluff and graduated from Poplar Bluff High School in 1972. He worked for the State of Illinois in Springfield as an IT Technician until his retirement in 2022. Shortly after his retirement he returned to Poplar Bluff, where he resided at the time of his death.

He is survived by his sister, Jean Hildebrandt (Art); Uncle, Jerry Martin (Toni); Aunt, Barbara Martin Hill (Gordon); and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30am onTuesday, September 15, 2026, at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services in Poplar Bluff, MO.
