Nicky Lynn Miles

Nicky Lynn Miles, 61, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at the Kansas City Hospice House, in Kansas City, MO.

Mr. Miles was born Jan. 30, 1953 in Poplar Bluff to the late Howard and Alice Coffel Webb.

He was of the Christian faith and had retired from the Union Pacific Railroad where he worked as a conductor for 41 years. Mr. Miles enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, fishing and hunting.

Survivors include a son, Jason Miles (Lesley) of Jefferson City, MO; a daughter, Tonya Miles (Robin Polk) of Stilwell, KS; six grandchildren; a brother, Terry Miles; and two sisters, Pat Ivy and Priscilla Spradley, all of Poplar Bluff.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Gale ""Randy"" Miles and Lanny Carroll Miles and a sister, Peggy Webb.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. A Memorial Service will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel with Rev. Bruce Pittman officiating.
