Norma Ruth Cox, 88, of Poplar Bluff, died Sunday, July 5, 2015 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis.
Mrs. Cox was born April 4, 1927 in Neelyville to the late Guy and Dora (Tate) Davidson. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, and was a homemaker.
On Aug. 27, 1948, she married Howard Cox in Indiana. He preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 2010.
Survivors include her daughter, Diann Clark of Poplar Bluff; two grandchildren: Becky (Alan) Hicks and Brian (Lora) Clark all of Poplar Bluff; and a great-grandaughter, Brianna Clark.
In addition to her husband and parents Mrs. Cox is also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Daniel Clark; four sisters, Blanche Hefner, Bernice Grandstaff, Verle Pinkerton and Jewell Lloyd; and a brother, Kenneth Davidson.
Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Dr. William Vail officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn section of the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
