Orville Riggins

Orville Riggins, 97, of Maryville, IL, passed away Friday, November 28, 2014 at Liberty Village in Maryville.
Mr. Riggins was born July 26, 1917 in Three Springs, MO, to the late James A. and Zora Bell Osborn Riggins. On May 8, 1944, he and Geraldine Gunn were married in Corning, AR. She survives of the home.
Mr. Riggins was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed taking care of his wife and family and fishing.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his two daughters Brenda Segafredo (Denny), of Zelienopel, PA, and Cindy Riggins of Troy, IL; a sister, Wilma Lloyd, of CA; a special friend, Shirley Hausman; seven grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
A daughter, Sandra Jackson; three sisters: Margaret Lewis, Naomi Williams, and Hattie Burmester; a brother, Arthur Riggins; and a grandchild, Ricky Jackson, all preceded him in death.
Visitation will be at Cotrell Funeral Chapel Monday from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. at the chapel with Rev. Jim Schremp officiating. Interment will follow at City Cemetery.
