Pansy M. Aud

Pansy M. ""Pat"" Aud, 83, of Poplar Bluff died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010 at her residence.

Mrs. Aud was born Oct. 9, 1926 in Qulin. She was a member of Collins Chapel General Baptist Church, and had retired as owner and operator of Pat's Ceramics in Poplar Bluff. During her earlier years she worked for Farmer's Cash Hardware Store and as a telephone operator. Mrs. Aud enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, quilting, going to yard sales and collecting antique glassware.

On July 4, 1946 she married Carl Aud in Piggott, Ark. He survives.

Other survivors include her son, Dennis Wayne Aud and wife Karen of Columbus, Ind.; daughter-in-law, Kathy Aud of Poplar Bluff; 6 grandchildren: Kimberly Snyder, Lori Smith and husband Greg, Doug Aud and wife Lorie, Jennifer Jackson and husband Kevin, Daniel Aud and wife Amanda and Julie Aud; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Claudia Vineyard and husband Dale of Wellington, Ohio, Almira Vinson and husband James and Carolyn Moore and husband Ron all of Poplar Bluff; and 2 brothers, Jesse Maddux and wife Joyce of Carmichael, Calif. and Norman Maddux of Poplar Bluff.

Her parents, Ernest P. and Maudie M. (Martin) Maddux, son, Douglas Eddie Aud, sister, Flossie Wilson, and brother, Mark Maddux preceded Mrs. Aud in death.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Friday in the Chapel with her son, the Rev. Dennis Wayne Aud officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
