Patricia Ann Happe

Patricia Ann (McElroy) Happe, 79, of Wappapello, MO., passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Patricia was born December 18, 1940 in Sikeston, MO to Ralph McElroy and Ila Mae (Gestring) Williams. She was a 1958 graduate of Sikeston High School and obtained a master’s degree in business education at SEMO at Cape Girardeau, Mo.  Patricia taught 20 years at Oran High School in Oran, Mo and later substituted at Poplar Bluff and Puxico, MO and Okeechobee, Florida.

On November 24, 1961 she married Fred Happe.

In addition to her husband, Patricia is survived by her children, Lisa Ann Hart and Lea Happe of Sikeston, Mo.; grandchildren, Garren Brown and Kendale Patrick of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and 4 great-grandchildren.

Patricia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed.

A private burial at the Missouri State Veteran Cemetery in Bloomfield will be held at a later date.
