Patricia A. Wheeling

Patricia A. Wheeling, 70, of Poplar Bluff died Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Wheeling was born Sept. 3, 1939 in Butler County, Mo. She had retired from the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center and the Physician's Pathology Services of Poplar Bluff as a medical transcriber.

On April 8, 1959 she was married to Carroll A. Wheeling in Barton, Fla. He preceded her in death on May 4, 2009.

Survivors include two grandsons, Jonathan Hosea and Ryan Hosea both of Huntsville, Tex.; a great grandson, David Hosea; brother, Carroll Joins of Maryland Heights, Mo.; four sisters-in-law, Dorothy Wheeling and Dolly Vinson both of Poplar Bluff, Doris Duckworth and her husband Gene of Mountain Home, Ark. and Fern Wiley of Malden; special friends and caregivers, Ronny and Teresa Barker and Carolyn and Ronnie Bazzell all of Poplar Bluff; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Her parents, David and Mable (Taylor) Joins, children, Ronda Wheeling and Ronald Wheeling, and sisters, Ruby Keeton and Janet Morphis preceded her in death.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Triplett officiating.
